Our batch furnaces are ideal for accurate brazing of small quantities and large. We can braze Kovar, Stainless Steel, Copper and Copper/Tungsten as well as many other metals to metallized ceramic. When the application requires it we can step braze to combine several sub-assemblies into the final product. Belilove has experience designing and brazing Pins and Sockets into holes, ring frames, lead frames and heat sinks.
Our furnace capability allows us to offer contract firing to our customers. Our controlled atmosphere batch furnaces can be used for large volume soldering, glass sealing, epoxy curing and Nickel and Gold sintering. Our programmable Cold Wall furnaces operate at temperatures up to 1500° C in a reducing atmosphere.
Hi-Temp Refractory metallization is the only solution for some packaging applications. Tungsten and Moly-Manganese metallizations have higher adhesion to the substrate than Thick-film metallization. This makes it the ideal process for Hermetic packages, Brazed lead frames and packages requiring high operating temperatures. We can screen print, spray or hand-paint these metals onto Alumina Oxide or Beryllium Oxide substrates. These patterns can be plated with Gold and Nickel or Gold alone. Once Gold plated, these surfaces are solderable and wire bondable with Aluminum or Gold wire.
Belilove Company can process any of your Thick-Film needs ranging from prototyping, engineering lots to medium size production runs. While we can screen print lines as fine as 0.004” with 0.004” spaces, for smaller resolution we can photo-etch thick-film to approach the line resolution of Thin-Film metallization without the high cost associated with that process.
